This trek heads from Lukla to the Sherpa town up north. We spend time in mountain village of Namche Bazaar which is still a famous trading center between Tibetian Nomads and Nepali Sherpa people of the region. From Namche we head up to the holy village of Tengboche. This has long been the religious centre for all inhabitants of the Solu Khumbu area. There are numerous shrines and a beautiful monastery that sits at 3870 meters. You will take your time heading back to Lukla and there are many options for extra side trips.

Fly to Lukla(8800ft) and a short trek (2-3 hours to) to Phakding at 8,661 feet. The flight into Lukla is similar to the Everest View flight for views and beauty.
After breakfast we set out towards Namche, the trail climbs gradually following the river and enters the Everest National Park at Jorsale, then crosses the river and climbs steeply to Namche (11,100 feet). (5-6 hours).
Today we make Namche as our station and explore around this beautiful town, we will hike up to Everest View Hotel further up and if possible we can hike up to the village of Khumjung.
Tengboche. We Climb the ridge above Namche and descend to the Dudh Koshi River before climbing again to Tengboche Monastery (12664 feet). (5-6 hours). Debuche is slightly further (20minutes) a beautiful village among the forest.
Before we leave this beautiful village its time to visit pay our visit to Tengbuche Monastery before our return towards Lukla. Overnight in Namche
We walk all the way back to Lukla from where we will board the flight the other day. The walk will take us 7Hours to complete. Overnight in Lukla
Fly to Kathmandu by noon.
This trek explores the breathtaking Gokyo valley which is located adjacent of the Khumbu. Gokyo is a land of high altitude lakes and icy glaciers.
